|Cross-Country Skiing- Morzine offers 5 differents cross-country skiing areas: The Manche Valley area, Le Pleney/ Chavannes (access thanks to Pleney cable car), Super Morzine/ Avorias, Lake Montrion.|
|Ski-touring - Also known as ski mountaineering, ski touring is increasingly popular in Morzine-Avoriaz, which hosted the European championships in 2007.|

- Ice climbing (or waterfall ice climbing) initiation or half-day. A range of itineraries: ridge trekking, glacier walks, mixed climbing, ice gully climbing, etc. High-altitude mountaineering in the Chablais Alps, Mont Blanc massif or Switzerland. Day or half-day trips, accompanied by a mountain guide.
|Biathlon - A winter sport that combines cross-country skiing and rifle shooting. There are Biathlon lessons and initiation in the morning, from 9.30am to 12am only. 1 half-day lesson (sunday or Monday): 41,50€, 6 consecutive half-days: 172€, includes transport. Contact ESF +33 (0)4 50 79 13 13|
|Helicopter Flights - Flights upon reservation from Avoriaz or Annemasse, sight-seeing flights over Portes du Soleil, Mont Blanc and flying lessons.|
| Speed Riding - (descending the slopes with a small parascending sail attached to your back), or you could just tackle the ropes course.
If you need to go higher still, try paragliding high above Morzine with your guide in a two-seater paraglider with the peaks of Mont Blanc, Dents Blanches and Dents du Midi just below you. Or for an even bigger adrenaline rush, happily jump out of a helicopter hovering above Avoriaz with you, wearing a parachute of course!

|Night sledging - Accompanied by a professional with sledges and head-lamps provided, go up in the Pleney cable car and sledge down the closed ski-slopes.|
|Paragliding - Courses or accompanied flights organised by qualified instructors. Accompanied flights cost 70€, courses and lessons available for all levels, speed flying/speed riding.|
|Snowshoeing (Raquette à Neige) - Wearing 'raquttes' (lightweight frames which distribute your weight evenly to enable the wearer to walk in deep snow), why not join a group led by organised guides and choose from 1/2 day themed treks, day long treks with lunch, 'torch-lit' or 'discover the stars' treks and discovery or energetic treks.|
|Snow Scooters - Guided ½ hour or hour treks. Drive alone or be a passenger, solo or pillion scooters. Daily from 5.30pm to midnight.|
|Cheese Making Dairy Tour - +33 (0)4 50 79 12 39 Morzine lies within the AOC zone for Reblochon and Abondance. Before tasting these traditional cheeses made in time-honoured fashion, come and see them being produced, from milking the cows through to placing the cheese in a mould: Discover the farm stables in the village of Les Nants on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10am.
Cheesemaking and guided visit of the maturing cellars at La Fruitière in Morzine, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9am in season. Free visit every afternoon from 3pm to 7pm.

There is skate hire at the rink and events during the season: disco on ice, broomball matches , etc. Indoor- 56m x 26m in the Palais des Sports. Also with skate hire at the rink, bar and snacks in the event of bad weather. With an ice hockey match every week during the season: the Pingouins from the Hockey-Club de Morzine-Avoriaz (HCMA) are in the Magnus League (French Championship) and regularly play exhibition matches against international teams.|
|Snowmobiling - A guided 20km (45min) outing through the forest of Super-Morzine. There are single and tandem snowmobiles available . Open every day from 5.30pm to midnight.|
|Off-piste Skiing - From discovering Portes du Soleil’s classic off-piste slopes or the Mont-Blanc massif, to seeking out the tracks of unknown routes, discover the hidden faces of the region.|
