Situated at the edge of a fir tree forest, in a pristine Alpine setting of greenery, rocks and waterfalls, Lake Montriond, the third largest in the region draws an ever increasing number of visitors, thanks to its magical and grandiose setting. The highlight of the lakes year is the annual firework display traditionally held on the second Saturday in August. Fishing – Numerous species of fish live in the lake including trout: fario, rainbow, salmon, somble knight and minnow. The practice of fishing is subjected to regulations and you must be in possession of a fishing license which can be purchased from;

Other activities include Pony Riding, Go-Karting and of course swimming. Lake Montriond has a special area set-aside for swimmers which is monitored by a life guard.
